How to tie a smooth knotless "knot"

Today, as Day 2 of Blog Every Day In May, I am educating you on a little something...
I learned this snazzy way of joining things while working on The Rug. Why was I not shown this earlier in life? It blew my mind. It is so FLAT! No knot glob here, friends!

Now, to be real, this isn't the sort of "knot" you'd want to use on something you'd be dangling your weight off of, but it is really great for sewing and crafting and such.

  1. That is a cool trick. I learned it when I made my locker hook rugs.....I guess you have to make a rug to need that type of knot....Lets see another rug post.
